Return and refund policy

We want shopping with us to be easy, transparent and safe.

Here you can read everything about how to return an item and how refunds are processed.

We want you to feel completely confident with your purchase – but if, contrary to expectations, your item does not meet your wishes, you are of course welcome to return it under the conditions described below.

(This policy applies to both online purchases and showroom collections by appointment.)

Right of Withdrawal

You have 14 days to notify us that you wish to return an item, and an additional 14 days to send it back.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you – or a person you have designated as the recipient – receive the item.

Conditions for Returns

For a return to be approved, the following conditions must be met:

• The item must be in the same condition as when received (testing is allowed, but it must not have been used).

• All accompanying accessories and documentation must be included – e.g. dust bag, authenticity card, original brand receipt (if provided), or other accessories that came with the item.

• Returns are accepted only after prior written agreement via email.

• Return shipping costs are paid by the customer – we always recommend insured and trackable delivery.

• The item must be returned in its original packaging or a sturdy cardboard box of similar quality to protect it during transport.

Returns sent in bags, envelopes or soft packaging are not accepted, as this may cause damage or deformation to the item.

This helps ensure that your item remains in the same condition as sent, allowing us to process your refund as quickly as possible.

• Until the return has been received by us, the sender is responsible for the parcel and bears the shipping risk.

• The customer must be able to document the shipment (e.g. receipt or tracking number).

Assessment of Condition and Possible Value Reduction

In accordance with Danish and EU consumer law, you have the right to inspect the item as you would in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, or function, and its condition or appearance has changed, a deduction may be made from the refund to reflect the reduction in value.

We always carry out a transparent assessment and inform you of the result before processing your refund.

Examples of usage beyond acceptable testing (especially for pre-loved handbags):

• Wearing or using the bag outside your home.

• Visible scratches, stains, odours (perfume, smoke), or wear that was not present upon receipt.

• Missing accessories such as dust bag, authenticity card, or original brand receipt (if included).

• Application of care products (e.g. impregnation, leather balm, polish) or changes to colour or finish.

• Stuffing or storage that has altered the bag’s shape.

Simple testing – such as opening/closing zippers, checking compartments and seams, or assessing size – is considered acceptable and does not affect your right of return.

Exchange

We generally do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to receive a different item, please return the one you received under the above conditions and place a new order.

Once we have received and approved your return, the amount will be refunded as described above.

Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us immediately – no later than 48 hours after receiving it – and include photos of both the outer packaging and the item, so we can assist you as quickly as possible.

This allows us to file a claim with the shipping carrier and resolve the issue promptly.

Unclaimed Parcels

Parcels that are not collected within the carrier’s deadline and are returned to us are not considered valid returns.

In such cases, the customer covers the cost of reshipment.

Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned:

• Items that have been used, modified, or treated (e.g. impregnation, leather balm, removal of tags).

• Items missing essential accessories or documentation.

• Unique pre-loved items that have been damaged, altered, or used after delivery.

• Gift cards (cannot be returned or refunded).

Refunds

Refunds are issued within 5 business days after we have received and approved the item

(up to 7 business days during peak periods, e.g. Christmas).

The amount will be refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase.

For refunds processed via third-party payment services (e.g. Klarna, Anyday, or PayPal),

the processing time may vary depending on the provider’s procedures.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item or proof of return shipment.

In case of a partial return, only the value of the returned items will be refunded.

Original shipping costs are not refunded unless the entire order is cancelled or the error is on our part.

If the item turns out to be defective or incorrect, we naturally cover all shipping costs related to the return or exchange.

Returns from Outside the EU

For returns from countries outside the EU, local import taxes and customs duties are not refundable.

These are charged by the destination country and are beyond our control.

Relevant customs documents (CN22 or CN23) should be included with the shipment, depending on the item’s value and weight.

Gifts

If you received an item as a gift, the refund can only be issued to the original purchaser,

using the same payment method as the initial transaction.

Complaints (Warranty Claims)

You always have a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven).

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, but not normal wear or damage caused by incorrect use.

A complaint must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered

(complaints made within 2 months are always considered timely).

In case of a valid complaint, we cover reasonable shipping costs and offer repair, replacement, partial refund or full refund depending on the situation.

Processing of Personal Data (GDPR)

In connection with returns and refunds, your personal data is processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to complete your refund.

All information is stored securely and confidentially in compliance with applicable GDPR standards.

Your data is only used for the purpose of handling returns and refunds and is deleted or anonymised

once the case is closed, unless longer retention is required by law (e.g. accounting regulations).

We only work with trusted service providers (e.g. hosting, payment, and shipping partners)

who comply with GDPR and have entered into data processing agreements with us.
